From in-school services to professional development opportunities, Communities in Schools of Pennsylvania strives to provide quality services to impact the live of our students, families, and community.
Our Unique Model
When Communities in Schools of Pennsylvania is invited to a school to support its students, we begin by assessing the unique needs of both individual students and the school as a whole.
Once we’ve identified what needs to be done, a plan begins to take shape. We provide support on three levels. Tier 1 is school-wide support and is designed to tackle issues on a holistic level. Tier 2 supports provide help to groups of students who share a common need and are identified through data and assessment. Finally, we also provide individualized attention through our Tier 3 support, giving students with unique needs the resources they’re missing.
Our model of integrated student supports is not about doing the work for students. It’s about making sure all students have access to the community resources and tools they need to unlock their potential and thrive.

Training Opportunities
Looking to enhance your professional skills and make a positive impact in your community? CISPA offers two high-quality professional development training opportunities, led by an experienced and trained team member, that are open to anyone.
Youth Mental Health First Aid Training: This program provides participants with the skills to identify and respond to mental health challenges in young people.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): This course is designed to provide educators and youth-serving professionals with the tools and understanding to adapt to any classroom or program setting, regardless of its diverse student makeup.
