Communities in Schools of Pennsylvania has established an educational fund to honor Justin Croson, who tragically passed away in early 2022. Justin was a 2020 Spring Grove High School graduate and a loyal friend who loved music, sports, and weightlifting.

CISPA has been profoundly moved by communications from Justin’s parents as well as his close friend, John Prego, a CISPA site coordinator at Goode K-8 School.

“Justin was always a happy kid,” said John. “He just wanted to have a good time and live in the moment. That was him. I can’t explain the amount of joy he brought to my life.”

The Justin Croson #AllinforKids Fund will support youth in The School District of the City of York by covering expenses related to extracurricular activities, athletics, and college/career readiness. Resources and supplies distributed will include but are not limited to sports equipment, attire for jobs or internships, SAT/ACT testing, and college application fees.

CISPA hopes to raise $10,000 for the Justin Croson #AllinforKids Fund in 2023 to provide York students guidance as they take the next steps in their lives.
