Leyna joined the CISPA team as a site coordinator in 2014 and served in that capacity for six years before shifting roles within the organization. Leyna is a social services professional who is committed to helping individuals improve their lives. She has years of experience working with children and families to provide advocacy, case management, and support. Leyna enjoys connecting with individuals and learning about their unique situations and goals.
In her current role, Leyna leads the organization's efforts to provide high-quality training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff, partners, and stakeholders. She is a certified Trauma Sensitive Professional and a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
Leyna is dedicated to helping lift people up and give them the tools and confidence to thrive. She finds the work deeply rewarding and hopes to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of others.
